About Us
Welcome to Sedgeberrow CE First School
Sedgeberrow CE First School is a one-form entry village school, with a preschool, located south of Evesham in Worcestershire, with 180 children on roll. We offer single year group classes from Reception to Year 5. Most children transition to Bredon Hill Academy (Years 6–8) and later to Prince Henry's High School (Years 9–12).
Our Ethos and Vision
We are proud to have been graded “Excellent” in our Church Inspection (SIAMS)—the highest possible rating.
Our school vision is for every child to:
- Achieve happiness, emotional and physical wellbeing
- Develop an understanding of their own spirituality
- Flourish with kindness and achieve their personal best
- Grow a love of learning, a love for others, a love for our world, and a love for themselves
“Our school stands for kindness.”
— Pupil quote, SIAMS Inspection 2019 (Bridget Knight)

- Represent the school during their time at Sedgeberrow
- Develop leadership skills through Pupil Parliament, sports, and school events
- Build confidence and public speaking skills through performances and presentations
Our Priority
Above all, our highest priority is the happiness of our children and their enjoyment of learning
